Hours
Mary Lake Montessori is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Preschool only hours are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
4K (4-year-old Kindergarten) only—AM Session 7:40 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.; PM Session 11:35 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Wrap Around Child Care is available outside the hours of preschool and 4K up to 5:30 p.m.
Afterschool Care only is available from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. as well as Waunakee No School Days.
Summer care is available for all ages from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Preschool/4K Program—Throughout the course of the morning and afternoon program, each classroom incorporates the following activities: group time for discussion of calendar, topic of the week, attendance, stories and songs, snack, art projects, outside play and individual activity time for working on math and language, sensorial and practical life lessons.

Summer Schedule
Throughout the day, art activities, free choice and outside play as well as weekly field trips for the Afterschool children are scheduled. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups and age-appropriate activities are planned. Preschoolers follow a similar schedule as the school year program. Enrollment for any of the programs are accepted and filled in this order:
- Preschool/4K with extended care
- Preschool/4K
- Kindergarten through Fourth grade Extended Care
Fees are subject to change at the start of each new session.
Preschoolers enrolled to begin after the start of the fall Semester are required to pay full fees from September to the start date to retain a position in the program if there is a waiting list.
Programs & Fees
Registration Fee - $30 per family per year
Supply Fee - $150 per preschool child per year; does not include 4K children or afterschool children
Morning Preschool Only - (Hours included 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
3 days per week - $160/week
4 days per week - $170/week
5 days per week - $180/week
Hourly Wrap Around care before 8:00 a.m. and after 11:00 a.m. is available for $17 per hour.
(Full day rates begin at 5 or more hours of care per day.)
4K - (Hours included 7:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. or 11:25 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.)
There is no fee for 4K. This fee is covered by the Waunakee School District
4K plus Wrap Around Care - (Hours included 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.; 10:20 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
Hourly Wrap Around care needed is $17 per hour.
(Full day rates begin at 5 or more hours of care per day)

(4K children needing Wrap Around care for 5 or more hours beyond the hours of 4K, will be charged a full day rate.
Less than 5 hours/day $17/hour)
Some families have chosen the option to enroll their child in the morning preschool classes and have their child attend the afternoon 4K class with their child leaving at 2:15 after the 4K class. The cost for that option is $220 per week. (Hours included 7:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.)
Drop-In Fees for unscheduled days: $80 per day; less than 5 hours per day $17 per hour
Afterschool Care (School Year) Kindergarten through 4th Grade
Up to 5 days per week - $95/week
Afterschool Rates for the Summer are the same as the full day rates above.
Afterschool care when the public schools are closed is available for school-age children at $50 additional fee.
*Each additional child will receive a 10% discount rate.
*Minimum charge is 3 half days per week for preschool.
